Continence Management

Continence management is an important issue for millions of women who struggle silently with incontinence. In a high percentage of cases, incontinence can be reduced or stopped. Mid Dakota Clinic offers a full treatment program, with evaluation, testing and treatment of bladder problems.

Facts About Bladder Incontinence
  • 85 percent of those with urinary incontinence are women
  • Urinary leakage is not normal at any age
  • Incontinence is treatable
  • Incontinence can be stopped or decreased in almost everyone
Our Approach

The Continence Management Program at the Mid Dakota Clinic Center for Women combines the expertise of family nurse practitioners specially trained in continence management, board certified OB/GYN doctors and a physical therapist trained in Women's Health to determine the best treatment for you. Testing, called urodynamics, may be done to give a more detailed evaluation of the bladder. Based on the results of your history and tests, we will develop a treatment plan just for you.

Your doctor may refer you to the Center for Women Continence Management Program or you may make an appointment yourself. Call (701) 530-6001, toll-free 1-855-530-6001 or shedule online. For more information, call (701) 530-6186 or 1-800-472-2113.
