Covidien Innovation Tour
Dr. Schafer-McLean learns about the latest technology used in laparoscopic surgery.
The Covidien Innovation Tour brought a state-of-the-art operating room on wheels to Bismarck on July 11. The 85-foot tractor-trailer transformed into a 1,200-square foot training facility, including five operating room stations, where surgeons, nurses, OR techs and others sharpened their skills on advanced tools and procedures for laparoscopic surgery. Covidien's mobile trailer meets leading laparoscopic surgeons who want to provide innovative surgery to patients and hone their skills with their peers in an OR environment.
